VG-17) Villas and Gardens

Lake Como, Positano & Rome

Day One – Depart from USA to Milan

Day Two – Upon arrival we will be met by our driver and guide for the trip and transfer to Villa D’Este located on Lake Como. Lunch served on patio overlooking the lake. After lunch rooms will be available for check in. Welcome dinner at hotel.

Day Three – Breakfast at leisure. After breakfast you will tour several Villas exploring the gardens, including Villa Carlotta and Villa Balbianello. We will continue on a private motorboat to visit Villa Melzi, then continue on to Bellagio where we will have lunch and you will have time to explore this beautiful town. After some free time we will explore the gardens of Villa Serbelloni before boarding our private motorboat back to Villa D’Este. Dinner on own

Day Four – Breakfast at leisure. Late morning departure to the areas of Lake Maggiore to explore a botanical garden at Villa Taranto tucked away between the lake and the mountains. Lunch locally. Dinner in Como.

Day Five – Breakfast at leisure. Morning departure for our flight to Naples. Upon arrival we will be met and transferred to LeSirenuse in Positano. Rest of your day at leisure. Dinner at hotel.

Day Six – Breakfast at leisure. Morning departure by motorboat to the Island of Ischia where we will spend the day. You will visit the gardens of Poseidon after which we will enjoy a catered late lunch on the beach, weather permitting. Return to Positano. Dinner on own.

Day Seven – Breakfast at leisure. Day on own to explore Positano and relax. Lunch on own. Dinner on own.

Day Eight – Breakfast at leisure. Morning at leisure. Afternoon departure to Ravello for lunch and shopping. Dinner locally.

Day Nine – Breakfast at leisure. Morning on own for last minute shopping. Lunch on own. Afternoon departure to Sorrento to visit a private Villa and the gardens. Cocktail reception in the formal garden followed by the beautiful sunset and dinner. Return to Positano.

Day Ten – Breakfast at leisure. Morning departure to Rome. Lunch along the way. Your accommodations will be at Hotel Hassler. Afternoon on own. Dinner at a local restaurant a short walk from the hotel.

Day Eleven – Breakfast at leisure. Day at leisure to explore or shop on your own. Lunch on own. Farewell dinner at hotel.

Day Twelve – Breakfast at leisure. Morning departure to airport for our Continental flight to Newark.
