We were a little anxious about arriving in Florence since we had never been to Italy before, Rina met us at the train station and our anxiety immediately left us! She brought us in her lovely car to the top of the city and gave us an overview of the history of the city and allowed plenty of time to see the sights. She took us to places we never would have known about and to all the places we read about. Her intense knowledge of the city, the art, the best places to eat and snack, and the history all created a beautiful day for us. I have and will continue to recommend her to anyone who asks for a great tour guide. She is not to be missed. I have made a new friend and hope to see her again soon. Fondly,

Re: Recent Trip to Italy

Dear Rina:
My Italian is not good, but I did learn one new expression on our trip-
“Non c’e`due senza tre”
There can not be a second without a third
After taking two tours with you as our guide, I am absolutely confident that there will be a third in the future. You introduced Sue and me to Tuscany in 2000, and we had dreamed since then that we could come back with our two sons and daughters-in-law and let you take us as a family across Tuscany and Umbria. Our trip in April was everything that we could have hoped for. Now, our entire family is in love with Italy, its countryside and cities, its history, its food and its people. We will always remember our last dinner at Lo Strettoio in the hills overlooking Florence. We have already started talking about our next trip to either the Italian Lake District or the southern part of the country.
Rina, you really outdid yourself this trip. Your Mercedes mini-bus was ideal for the six of us. The hotels and restaurants that you selected were uniformly excellent. I want to specifically compliment the special guides that you arranged for us.
Ricardo and Cindy was the ideal-Florentine-American couple to introduce us to the art and history of Florence.
Marielena has an incredible passion for her city of Siena and its traditions such as the “Palio.”
Maria Gloria made the life and work of St. Francis come alive as she guided our tour of Assisi.
Professor Emilio did a marvelous job of presenting the art and architecture along with the history of Perugia in Umbria.
We are going to recommend you to any of our friends who are planning a trip to Italy. I want you to feel free to use this letter as a reference to any families that are considering you as a guide. Any of your potential clients are welcome to contact us by phone or e-mail if they have any specific questions for us.
Thanks again for putting together a wonderful family vacation for us. As far as we know, we do not have any relatives in Italy, but we have come to regard you as a member of our family. Good luck to you in all of your efforts, and we hope to see you again soon.

Dear Rina: We all arrived back in Shreveport, Louisiana last evening very tired but without any unpleasant problems. Carol and I, Jeff and JoAnn had a wonderful trip to your country and having the opportunity to meet and have you be our travel guide was the icing on the cake. We can only say "Thank You" for showing us such a great time and being a part of our celebration that made it very special.
